Round baskets in soothing natural colors are woven from pine needles and pajon, a native grass of the Central American highlands, and stitched with intricate raffia detailing. Since all baskets are made by hand, measurements may vary slightly. These baskets are handmade by women from a Fair Trade cooperative in Sololá, Guatemala. The women earn a regular income from this work, allowing them to feed their families and send their children to school.
